From Loner to Lonely

That's me. I've always been a loner. Now that I'm older, people surround me, but I'm lonely. Those that I'm drawn to keep me at arm's length or go away entirely. Friendships come and go, but things never seem to gel into something meaningful.
I just don't fit in with the crowd, and am quite often at odds with popular opinion. Conversations seem so shallow, even vapid.
Perhaps DA is a place to develop a human connection through the world of art?
